The Dreame L40s Ultra is the top-end model in Dreame's L40s series, and after 3 months of testing it landed at an overall 8.0/10 with a clean Just A Dad Approved verdict. The feature set carries itself like a flagship in nearly every way: hassle-free factor at 9/10, carpet cleaning at 8/10, hair tangle at 8/10, obstacle avoidance at 8/10. The only category that trails is mop performance at 7/10 — solid, but not class-leading.

Released November 2025, the L40s Ultra has been on a steady price decline since launch — same trajectory as the older X40 Ultra. The cleaning result was already where it needed to be from the start; the value proposition keeps getting stronger as the price drops.
