3 Months of Real Use in My Home

I ran the Mova Mobius 60 every day for three months in my actual house — not a clean studio. Fiona, our dog, sheds. There are kids' toys on the floor, charging cables, and floor transitions between rooms. This is the real-world condition every robot in the testing pool has to survive.

The Mova Mobius 60 ran daily without major drama. Setup ran cleanly, the app held up, and after the first week the robot disappeared into the routine the way a good robot vacuum should. The standout was large water tanks — fewer dock refills on big jobs — that's the feature buyers should be paying for, and it delivered in 3 months of testing.

The Dock and the Real Maintenance Story

The dock is the second-most-important part of any robot at this tier. See the dock specs table above for water temperature, dirt detection, solution tank, and tray removal details — those add up to whether the dock is a 5-minute weekly check or a 30-minute monthly clean.

The MOVA App Experience

The app is functional and not flashy, which is what I want. You get scheduling, room-by-room cleaning selection, no-go zones, suction and water level controls, and a live map view. It's not as polished as the Roborock app — fewer animations, slightly less obvious where some settings live — but everything I needed was there within a tap or two.

Wi-Fi pairing was clean. Voice control through Alexa works. Notifications come through reliably when the bin needs emptying or a cycle finishes. No complaints worth flagging.

What I'd Change About the MOVA Mobius 60

• Add dock-based Dirt Detect. The Mobius 60 lacks this feature while the Narwal Z10 Ultra has it — adding it would close the one real feature gap.
• Shrink the base station footprint. The current dock is large; a smaller form factor would make the system viable in more home types.
• Rethink the per-room mop pad swap workflow. It works as designed, but real-world buyers swap pads less often than the system assumes — the workflow should reflect actual user behavior.
